Political rallies at airport hangers

How do people get to them?

Is the hanger inside security?

Does the crowd have to walk through the airport and then out onto the tarmac to get to the rally?

Do they have to pay for parking at the airport? Or does the hanger have its own parking?

A friend of mine has been to a couple of these and he says they're usually held at executive hangers away from the main terminal, with their own parking and security screening. But the ones he went to (in Champaign, Ill., and Santa Barbara, Calif.) were at very small airports. So the logistics for visitors were probably less complicated.

I covered a small rally at the SB airport for the college paper. But I think it was just Newt Gingrich stopping by to campaign for a local congressional candidate. There wasn't much security, but we did enter the airport grounds on the opposite side from the passenger terminal. Wasn't held in a hanger.
